Macrina Coffee Bags

Student Work, 2018

CHALLENGE: Create a set of custom coffee products for the Macrina Bakery that appeal to millennials visiting Seattle for the first time.

SOLUTION: Add screen printed cards to the bags of whole bean coffee; these cards have pastry recipes printed on the backside. My illustrations incorporate components of the Macrina logo and highlight the public markets where the coffee would be sold.

DETAILS: The cards are a lasting takeaway for the customer, giving them the option to bake something at home that pairs with the beans they bought. My goal was to appeal to the DIY mindset that millennials often exhibit and tie the company’s bakery background to the coffee product.
